By accessing, downloading, or using AICVScan via our website, mobile application, or API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of AICVScan.

2. Description of Service

AICVScan provides an AI-powered platform for resume analysis, application preparation, and interview practice. The Service operates on a credit-based model where certain actions consume credits. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits, Billing, and Payments

4.1. Credit System: Paid features consume credits. Credits are purchased via secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Google Play Billing).

4.2. Non-Refundable: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or specific platform policies (such as Google Play refund policies).

4.3. Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. We reserve the right to close inactive accounts after 24 months of no login activity.

5. AI Output Disclaimer and Limitations

AICVScan utilizes advanced artificial intelligence models to generate suggestions, resume content, and interview feedback. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating any material generated by the AI before using it in a real job application or professional setting.
• AICVScan is not liable for any employment outcomes, rejections, or missed opportunities resulting from the use of our Service.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive resumes or applications.
• Upload sensitive personal data (e.g., Social Security numbers, banking details) that is not relevant to a job application.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI prompts or source code.
• Abuse the credit system or exploit any bugs to gain unauthorized access.

7. User Content and License

You retain all ownership rights to the resumes, cover letters, and text you upload ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant AICVScan a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AICVScan and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
